Instructional computer programming startup Codecademy launched a successful New Year’s Day campaign called #codeyear to get people to sign up for their free online courses. In it, they encouraged people to share their “New Year’s Resolution” to learn to code - and signed up close to 100,000 people in just two days.
Now the company may have snagged it’s most high profile pupil: New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg. He tweeted his resolution this afternoon to his 200,000+ Twitter followers.
Why are you learning to code this year?
